The National Public Housing Museum (NPHM) will finally have its home in our community on Taylor Street. The Chicago Housing Authority has recently signed a lease with the NPHM which is well on its way to raising the capital needed to develop its building.

This summer the ACE Mentor Chicago Program chose The NPHM as their client.

The ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc. (ACE) helps mentor high school students, and inspires them to pursue careers in design and construction. ACE stands for Architecture, Construction, and Engineering. The students completed a design/build project at the site on the NE corner of Taylor and Ada Streets. This has beautified the fenced area, and will provide our community with updates about the NPHM’s progress.  Please stop by to take a look at what these students have achieved, and to learn about progress of the NPHM.
