It’s time to see a play locally… at UIC!

Aren’t we lucky to live so close to UIC!  C4C is working  with the School of Theater and Music to be able to take advantage of the wonderful events that they have to offer to us, their neighbors. You will be hearing more about their programs as the year progresses.

Opening in February will be the mesmerizing Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning Clybourne Park by Bruce Norris.  Gentrification and perceptions of community highlight an excruciatingly funny and squirm-inducing evocation of the fault line between race and property.  Hey here’s an idea! Let’s all go live in the ghetto!

Directed by Derek Sanders the play will be showing as follows:

February 21,22,27 28 and March 1 at 7:30 pm

February 23, 26 and March 2 at 2 pm

February 25 at Noon

The theater is located at 1040 W. Harrison. Take the bus, walk or drive on over. Parking is available.

On Sunday, February 23 the 2 pm performance will be a Community Event with a special price of $10 (normally $16).  You can order tickets on line with the code of  C4C. Just click on the this link to order tickets.
