Please join us, along with representatives of the Chicago Park District, Alderman Jason Ervin, Related Midwest, Wolff Landscape Architecture and the CHA, to discuss and provide feedback on design elements for a new park proposed for Taylor Street at Lytle Street.
WHERE: Urban Prairie Waldorf School – 1220 West Lexington Street. Your children are welcome to attend with you.
WHEN: Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
It will also be an opportunity to see the wonderful interior renovation of this school building which was once Our Lady of Pompeii Elementary School and to learn more about Urban Prairie.
RSVP using the form below. Let us know if you need a Zone 5 temporary parking permit in the comments section and please complete the brief poll about the park. The poll is below the RSVP form.
There are only two parts to the poll. First, select 4 of 8 listed park elements you believe most important to a successful public park. Second, review these 93 images of park elements (it’s a large file so be patient). They’re being used to guide public discussion on a park renovation project that Site Design Group, Ltd. is doing for Lake Shore Park and Seneca Playground. Use the numbers in the lower right corner of each image and enter your top 5 favorite in the poll below. Separate your answers by commas in the “Other” field.
