Tuesdays-at-One: LIVE on WFMT
Our Tuesdays-at-One series continues through the semester with many concerts broadcast live on 98.7WFMT. Performances take place from 1:00 to 1:50 pm in Recital Hall L060 on the lower level of 1040 W. Harrison St.
November 12 – UIC Jazz Combos
Musicians in UIC’s Jazz program study intensively with leading Chicago jazz artists. Hear these young performers in action.
November 19 – Guitar Duo Moderno+ *
Fareed Haque is a modern guitar virtuoso, fearlessly innovative, with a unique command of different musical styles. He partners with guitarist Paul Moeller on his program of duets.
November 26 – LP Duo*
Acclaimed as one of the top 10 duos at one of the world’s largest piano competitions, LP Duo has won more than 30 international awards. Their program highlights contemporary repertoire for which they are well known.
December 3 – UIC Chamber Music
Our fall series closes with solo and chamber works presented by music majors from the UIC School of Theatre & Music.
