Swimming and climbing activities for kids at UIC

Are you looking for an adventurous summer program for your kids? UIC’s Kids Rock ‘N Swim is just the program for you! Rock ‘N Swim is for any child between the age of 5 and 14 who wants to learn the fundamentals of climbing AND swimming. During the 60 minute swimming portion, children will learn fundamental swimming techniques which will increase their confidence in the water. Instruction is led by a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and the class is taught according to American Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum. During the 75 minute climbing portion, children will learn teamwork, communication, and confidence while participating in exciting climbing games and activities. This program will take place five days a week and each session will last three consecutive weeks. Sessions need at least 5 adventurers to run so bring your friends!
