Vagina Monologues this weekend at UIC

Come see the international hit, Vagina Monologues, this weekend at UIC.

The show is part of a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. The main goals of the Vagina Monologues are to increase awareness, raise money, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. The show generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation and sex slavery. The subject mature is for relatively mature audiences, i’d recommend high school students and older.

The performances will be at 1040 W. Harrison St. 60607. The UIC theatre just west of Morgan.

Today, Friday, 2/15, there will be a 7pm show and tomorrow, Saturday, 2/16, there will be a 3pm and 7pm show.
All proceeds are benefiting local organizations that help to stop violence against women and girls.

The tickets are $5 for students (college or high school with valid IDs) and are $10 for the general public
