Mr. Zenon is the most celebrated alto saxophonist of his generation. He tours as a Kennedy Center jazz ambassador, has played the Newport Jazz Festival, and performs regularly as a founding member of SF JAZZ. He will perform with the UIC Jazz Ensemble under direction of Andy Baker. Members of the celebrated UIC faculty will also be featured on the program.

We have a special community ticket price of $7 (normally $10). You can buy tickets on line in ADVANCE at (must use code FRIEND for special price) or call 312.996.6068. Our special discount rate is NOT VALID for at-the-door-sales. So come out and support our UIC neighbor and this great event!

After the music, any of you who want to go out for a drink with neighbors, hang out in the venue for a few moments, we’ll find one another, and go out for a drink to raise a toast to the benefits of living in a university community! World class jazz for $7.00. Can’t beat that!
