Bring the kids to Powell’s on Saturday, Dec. 1st at 10 am

If you weren’t able to bring the kids over to Powell’s Bookstore last weekend to hear the reading of The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey then mark  your calendar for Saturday, December 1st at 10 am!  Priscilla Hummel, Provision Theater’s Education Director will be doing the reading. She is wonderful and will keep the kids entertained and parents/caregivers too!

Please look for Kate Tormey’s blog on Provision Theater’s critically acclaimed production of The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey that is opening on November 21st and running thru December 23rd.  The theater is right in our neighborhood at Roosevelt/Morgan. You can walk over (1001 W. Roosevelt, they share the building with the Gilchrist-Marchman Child Development Center) or park in their lot.  Enter lot on Morgan and theater entrance is off the parking lot.

On another note, Powell’s has a Read a Aloud for children on Friday mornings at 10 am and Saturday mornings at 11 am. Neighborhood residents have volunteered to do readings.  The children’s section is  wonderful.  Great area to bring the kids to.
